Lesson 2 "Natural Disasters"

Today,I learn about "News Stories:Natural Disasters" from last week.

First,Dr.Usa order shared about  "What happened from last week?" with my partner.

She instructive reading and English pronunciation use Cambridge dictionary online.

Teacher teach reading English newspaper  with ordered read each news story ,share Thai or English with my friends,answer the question and learn vocabulary.

Example 1:"Japan earthquake:Tsunami hits north-east" 

Example 2:California fires:Evacuation orders given to 13,000

I don't understand directed toward identify the topic of paragraphs,some phrase and some word but because this lesson have hard vocabulary.

Today,I learn about "News Stories:Natural Disasters"

- Exchange opinion about natural disasters in the word :Tsunami,Earth quake,flood,Hailstone,wildfire,tornado,heatwave,volcano and flashlight eat.


- I washing clip-video on projector about Tsunami in Japan and disaster in the word.


- I talk about "News Stories:Natural Disasters" with my partner.


- Teacher teach reading English newspaper with ordered read each news story,answer the questions and learn vocabulary .

News story 1 : Myanmar flooding affects one million.

News story 2 : Typhoon Soudelor hits China with deaths,floods and mudslides.

News story 3 : Landslides kill 9 in Doti and Gulmi district of Nepal.

- We're present about "A healthy diet" in classroom.

 My group present menu : Fire rice with seafood,Vermicelli spicy salad,Cocoa and Lemon tea.

Fire rice with seafood

Food that is unhealthy and isn't very good for you because seafood high cholesterol and fat. 

Vermicelli spicy salad

Food that is healthy and good for you because this food high protein and vitamin.

Cocoa

Drink that is unhealthy and is'n very good for you because sweet and fat.

Lemon tea 

Drink that is healthy and good for you because high vitamin c.

Today,I had learning for Reading Strategies with Asst.Prof.Dr.Usa Noytim.
She taught about "A healthy diet" from last week.

Lesson 1 "A healthy diet"

Exercise 1: directed toward identify the topics of paragraphs.

Exercise 2: Read the text again and answer the question.

Exercise 3: Complete the sentences with some of the word in the box.

Exercise 4: Answer the question about you.Compare you your answers with a partner.

Exercise 5: Complete the sentences with the verbs in the present continuous.Be careful about the spelling of the main verb.

Exercise 6-10: Read the text quickly and answer the question.

Completing a text : Delete words you don,t need and write words into the spaces.

I think my diet is quite not strict.
I eat a lot of  Omelet and Mix fruit juice.
I try not to eat too much fat.

For breakfast I usually eat milk or mix fruit juice.
and at lunchtime I eat rice.
In the evening I eat salad.

One thing I love is Chocolate
and one thing I never eat is alcohol.

I can't exercise 1 because I don't understand directed toward identify the topics of paragraphs,some phrase and some word but  I will try to understand and make it.

Today,I had learning for English Reading Strategies.My instructor of this course is Asst.Prof.Dr.Usa Noytim.

First ,She introduced about  course syllabus,class rules,how to learning perfect or how to get good grade and started lesson 1.

Lesson 1  is  "A healthy diet? "
This lesson,I know food choices are very important healthy food makes you strong and consumption Junk food with too much sugar, salt or monosodium glutamate is harmful to health. Is a major cause of diabetes and other diseases.

The first feeling when I am study with Asst.Prof.Dr.Usa Noytim is serious because I hear the senior recounted that she was strict.My language skills are not strong. The teaching of the institution. (College of Dramatic Arts) to learn about art. Do not focus on academics, I have learned to make a difference.

For the English reading strategies :  I identify the main idea of paragraph,scan various texts to find specific information.Attitudes towards of the lesson is not many words.It had better if it had so many word for progress learning.
